The Salford-based band - consisting of Dale Scott (vocals), Ian Scott (guitar), Ian Dickson (bass) and Ste Hewertson (drums) - formed in 2014. Inspired by Manchester's 80s music, the four-piece add a thumping rhythm section and delayed guitars, with the result being a psychedelic one.
With punchy drum beats and skitty guitar riffs on Phosphorus, think The Smiths but a little bit more indie and contemporary. We definitely feel this band are one to watch out for, and with airplay on Radio X and various other stations across the UK and US, you could be seeing a lot more of them soon!
Phosphorus is due for release on 1 February but the single will be officially launched with a gig on 6 February at Manchester's Aatma venue (click here for more information).
