Introducing: Riverside (Artist of the Week)

Riverside is an Essex-based boyband relatively new to the music scene, having only formed earlier on in 2013. Jack Smith, Tommy Miller and Jake Kirby have racked up almost 15,000 Youtube views, covering artists such as One Direction and Justin Bieber, and with over 5,500 Twitter followers, the boys are steadily building a dedicated fanbase of 'Rivlets'. With an X Factor audition on the cards, more fame and fans are surely on the horizon for Riverside.

As HD Music Promotion's first ever 'Artist of the Week', it only made sense to get the boys involved in a little 'Q & A'. Here's what HD asked...

How would you sum up Riverside in 3 sentences? A group of young lads from Essex, on the journey to achieving our dreams, by doing what we love which is music, with the support of a strong team and our amazing fanbase the Rivlets.

What do you hope to have achieved in 5 years’ time? To be be recognised on a worldwide scale and we hope to reach out to as many people in the world by doing what we love and by making people happy.

Who are your role models/inspirations? @CarolynWarzone Tommy's inspiration is Ed Sheeran, Jack's inspiration is Justin Bieber, Jake's inspiration is Mac Miller.

If there were to be a movie about Riverside, who would you like to play you? @TommyTsBand Jake would want Channing Tatum, Tommy would want Justin Bieber, Jack would want Zac Efron.

What inspirational quote do you live by? @TommyMillersGirl "Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what your gonna get" - Forrest Gump's Mum.

Who has the smelliest feet? @OliviaT_ Tyrone our manager haha.

Would you rather have legs for arms or arms for legs? @chantellealanax Arms for legs because arms are stronger.

What’s the most embarrassing thing you’ve ever done? @EllisFoord Jack hitting a bum note on his first ever recording session haha!

Would you rather live in space or under the sea? @shona_District3 In space, so we could watch the world go by!

Alpaca, sloth, llama – who would be who and why? @SGrivlets Jacks an Alpaca, Jakes a sloth and Tommys a Llama. Dunno why that's just pretty cool haha!
