Introducing: Underwing

This week, we introduce you to Underwing!

Hailing from Norway, Underwing are a hard rock band consisting of Enyeto Kotori (vocals & bass), Joachim Walle Michalsen (drums), Thomas Myhren (guitars) and Magnus Christiansen (guitars & vocals).

Taking inspiration from the last five decades of musical endeavors, Underwing seek to create a soundscape that as a merges the groovy rhythms found in 70’s rock, the melancholic atmosphere of 90’s grunge and the sonic complexity of modern progressive metal. 

With their music carrying a strong lyrical message, Underwing hope to provide listeners with an opportunity to reflect over how challenges faced in life can be a source of empowerment and growth. 

Looking to the future, the four-piece entered the studio in June this year to record their five-track, self-produced debut EP, Kaela Upsweep, which we can expect in early 2017!
