Video of the Week: Motion Device - Doves + Snakes

Our Video of the Week goes to Motion Device for Doves + Snakes!

Hailing from Toronto, Ontario, Canada, Motion Device is a rock band comprised of Sara (vocals), her sister Andrea (bass and keys), brother David (drums) and cousin Josh (guitar).

While this family collective may look fairly young, don't be fooled into thinking they're new to the game. They started uploading videos to Youtube in 2010 when singer Sara was just eight years old. To begin with, they covered big rock and metal bands such as the likes of Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Dream Theater and Led Zeppelin. As they grew, the band began writing their own material, which soon gained just as much praise as their covers for its heavy rock sound paired with thought-provoking lyrics.

The band's latest crowd-funding campaign accumulated an incredible $32,000 in donations and resulted in the recording of their debut album, Eternalize, in 2015. With such passion and drive, it's not hard to see why Motion Device has steadily built a solid fan base across social media.

Take a watch of the video for Doves + Snakes below, featuring the band performing the track. Look out for the real doves and snakes making an appearance too!
